Bill's practice primarily focuses upon insurance coverage, litigation, personal injury defense, and workers' compensation defense. He also handles appellate work for the First, Second, Third and Fourth Appellate District Courts in the State of Illinois as well was the Workers' Compensation Division of the Appellate Courts. He has successfully presented cases before the Illinois Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals in the Seventh Circuit. Bill has been selected to be a Member of the Illinois Leading Lawyers Network.

Bill had tried cases in the following counties and courts - Cook, DuPage, Kane, Kendall, Lasalle, Lee, McHenry, Bureau, and the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Bill is admitted to practice and successfully has successfully litigated cases in the following Appellate Districts- First, Second, Third, Fourth Illinois Appellate Districts and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.

Bill has been admitted to the Illinois Bar, US District Courts for the Northern and Central Districts of Illinois and the Federal Trial Bar.

  • Estate of Avila v. Esquivel, pedestrian wrongful death claim - verdict of 50/50 negligence with no damages (2011)
  • Ruan v. Norris, a very rare successful fraud verdict arising out of a workers' compensation claim (1996)
  • Tim Drahozal v. Justin Loescher, vehicle accident - one of the first post-Covid verdicts in DuPage County. Plaintiff counsel asked for $525,000, the jury returned a verdict of $59,137.00 (2021).
  • Yoder v. Single source Transportation, 60 day trial and appeal of a multi party catastrophic loss (2004)
