Monica V. Fernandez Associate

Monica joined Chilton Yambert Porter LLP as an associate in 2019. Prior to her career in law, Monica worked in Human Resources for over fifteen years. Her practice focuses on both Personal Injury and Worker's Compensation Defense.

With over twenty years in the corporate environment working on complex human resource issues as well as handling various day-to-day employment matters that arise in the workplace, Monica brings a wealth of experience working directly with in-house counsel, senior management and other executives to use in both her Personal Injury and Worker's Compensation Defense practice.

Monica's prior employment in the HR field included handling of personnel policies and procedures, independent contractor arrangements, insurance issues, OSHA reporting and internal investigations of same and handling of annual reports and other state filings for various corporations.
